Change... and its comparitive value with holidays

So... went to Sydney, came home from Sydney, quit my jobs, packed up my stuff, said my goodbyes, now this is my sundown. Goodbye lovely times...

Returned to Sydney (with $270 worth of excess luggage!!).

THE END.

Stay tuned for the novel and / or screenplay. All i need is a title. Best option so far: The Tart and the Queer. Maybe it should be cocktease... still debating this one.

Morning!

well, okay, so i spoke just a bit too soon then. Things, once again, have changed a lot.

Firstly, Stu got transferred to Melbourne for 10 weeks, so he's gone until after Christmas. Until yesterday it was just myself and Joe in the house, except i was hardly in the house because i'm still working 2 jobs. Home is where the sleep is.
Now, however, I've got my Kenny back and things are looking up. I also had some sleep last night, so that was nice. I had some more this afternoon and that was nice too. Tonight i'm looking forward to plenty more nice sleep.

Alone. Yup, that's right. Melanie and i are no longer a we. But now there's all sorts of gossip and scandal at work, because we never announced our newfound singleness. And then last week she started seeing one of the other guys from work. So now the mouths are churning and we're both getting sympathy from different people depending on what story they've heard or chosen to believe. It's all a bit curious. Well, i manage to find the humour in it anyway.

As you may already know, i'm returning to Sydney next week for some job hunting / interviews etc. It is at this stage most likely that i'll be re-uprooting and dragging my vacuum-packed bags of stuff back east early next year. Which is both happy and sad, for various reasons and depending on how certain things turn out. But hey, time will tell.

This move means a few things: i have to sell my stuff, which is okay because i was getting kind of sick of climbing into and out of bed. When you're not getting as much sleep as me, you'll know that if you have to make an effort just to get into bed it's simply not cool. So the bed's gotta go. Also the cheap-arse bikes and the funky fridge. And with all the money i'm saving up working 2 jobs and from selling stuff, i'm possibly gonna buy a little car. But we'll see about that. I fell in love with a little Festiva the other day, but it passed in at $5000, so it was well out of my price range. But hey, time will, as always, tell.

Anyways, i'm offski to eat and sleep now. Seeyall soon.
